The technical story of Fitzgerald LED started with some serious research.

Looking back to almost a century ago we discovered the story of a young Russian Scientist and Inventor named Oleg Losev, he discovered something never seen before,a source of light not created by or generating any heat. This at the time was unbelievable,all light was considered to be a bi-product of heat.

Oleg had discovered a low level light emanating from a semiconductor on a radio he was designing. The most important part of his discovery was the very apparent lack of heat. Very much considered key in Fitzgerald LED design.

Our luminaires have been carrying the Fitzgerald brand for over four decades, in this time lighting has seen many changes and we have harnessed each technology into a world class industrial and commercial product.

Fitzgerald LED is continuing the Cornish tradition of improving and innovating new methods to illuminate the world safely and now with very real efficiency. Bespoke, specific application and designs with modern diffusion techniques using specially formulated plastics, our luminaire optics put energy efficient light where it’s both aesthetically and purposely required making our products stand alone.
